Ombigaichen peak (6340m) is rarely climbed trekking peak in the Everest region. It is situated at Mahalangur Himalayan range. The peak was opened for climbing since 2002.  From the summit, you will enjoy the ever tantalizing views of world’s famous Himalayan peaks.  Witness  Everest (8848m), Nuptse (7879m), Lhotse (8516 m), Lhotse Shar (8383m), Makalu (8475m), Baruntse (7720m), and Ama Dablam (6856m) etc. from the summit.

The most normal route to this wonderful peak follows Lukla-Namche Bazaar, Ama Dablam Base Camp and Ombigaichen Base Camp. The trek to Ombigaichen Base Camp is full of wilderness with magnificent geographical views beyond imagination. Add to this, hills blanketed with great beauty of seasonal flowers, green pastures, thrilling river gorges, snow-covered trails, rhododendron forest, diverse flora and fauna, glacial lakes, pristine villages, and ancient Buddhist monasteries are some of the other highlights of the trip.

Ombigaichen peak climbing is graded as moderate. So, this package can be fascinating and adventuresome. Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 m.) and trek to Phakding (2610m) (3 hrs)
Day 04: Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.) (5-6 hrs)
Day 05: Rest and acclimatization
Day 06: Trek to Khumjung (3790m)
Day 07: Trek to Tengboche (3860m)
Day 08: Trek to Mt. Ama Dablam Base Camp
Day 09: Trek to Ombigaichen Base Camp (5200m).
Day 10: Climb/ Summit Ombigaichen Peak (6,340m) & back to Amadablam Base Camp
Day 11: Trek to Tengboche
