The Annapurna Circuit Trek is a most popular and scenic trekking route in the world. The total distance of the route that it covers varies between 160–230 km (100-145 mile), depending on where motor transportation is used and where the trek is ended.

The magical Trek

Annapurna Circuit trekking journey starts in an overland drive from Kathmandu to Syange / Jagat via Besishahar and then trekking trail goes along the Marshyangdi River through rice paddies, terraced fields, and Hindu villages, enjoying with a great view of Manaslu and Himal Chuli to the east. This interesting trek leads you to the beautiful settlements inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups, offering a spectacular and majestic view of the white Himalayas.

As the trail continues to the north of the main Himalayan range onto the high and dry Tibetan Plateau, the scenery is equally breathtaking. While trekking into the Trans-Himalayan region inhabited by people of Tibetan origin, you will see prayer flags, mani walls, and monasteries along the trail. It reminds you of the thriving Buddhist culture and influence over the area. The trek crosses two different river valleys, encircles the Annapurna massif and finally concludes in the Kali Gandaki gorge.

The highest point of the trek is Thorong La pass at the top of the valley at 5416m high. Due to the difficulties of crossing the pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter-clockwise direction. Traveling clockwise the longer ascent and shorter descent from west to east is too much for many trekkers to manage in one day. The crossing of the Thorong La pass (5,416m) is a challenging ascent, surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery.

Anyone with sound health can join this trek since this trek has been set on the basis of slow hike pace to get full acclimatization with a view to enable our clients to get ultimate fun of trekking in this Himalayan paradise.

As Annapurna Circuit trek is long and challenging, one needs to be physically fit and must have experience of trekking at high altitude.
